19th November 2007 - Final Accounts

The closing financial statements for RPSAG have now been completed, and may be viewed by clicking here

14th July 2007 - Charitable Donation to Woking Homes

The process of winding up the financial and other affairs of RPSAG has almost been completed, and the closing Financial Statements will be published here soon.

After payments of all outstanding legal and other costs, RPSAG will be left with a surplus of between £45,000 and £50,000.  The Committee has decided that it is not practicable to distribute this sum to its 55,000 members, as the cost of returning 80p (average) per member would be prohibitive.

Our Chairman advised our members in his letter of 8th November 2005 that, in these circumstances, it was the Committee's intention to distribute the residual cash to a railway charity.

The Committee has chosen Woking Homes as its railway charity, and on Saturday 14th July a cheque for £40,000 was presented by RPSAG to the Trustees of Woking Homes.  A cheque for a further sum of between £5,000 and £10,000 will be presented when the closing Financial Statements have been completed.
